The recently leaked image of the upcoming 2024 Toyota Fortuner

Speculation has been rampant in recent months regarding the upcoming Toyota Fortuner. Although the brand has not officially confirmed anything, it is anticipated that the third-generation Fortuner will make its global debut next year. Given its popularity in India, the country might be among the first to receive the new seven-seater full-size SUV.

A few weeks ago, an alleged leaked image of the 2024 Toyota Fortuner surfaced online. While its authenticity remains unverified, we have created a speculative rendering based on that leak. This rendering reveals a significantly revamped front fascia, imbuing the vehicle with a sportier appearance compared to the current model.

At the front, you’ll notice a triple horizontal grille with the Toyota badge positioned in the center, an octagonal-shaped metallic grille surround, sleeker headlights with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights, a muscular hood, C-shaped black housing housing new fog lamps, pronounced wheel arches, and a sleek side profile featuring a spacious greenhouse with tall pillars, along with newly designed alloy wheels.

Additional details include body-colored door handles, blacked-out pillars, chrome window trim, a nearly flat roofline with robust roof rails, wraparound tail lights, side steps, and an integrated spoiler. Reports suggest that the forthcoming Fortuner will be larger in size compared to the current model, likely based on the TNGA-F ladder frame chassis.

The 2024 Toyota Fortuner is expected to draw design inspiration from the recently revealed new-generation Tacoma pickup truck, potentially resulting in a sportier appearance than depicted in our rendering. Inside, substantial changes are anticipated, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new digital instrument cluster, and a redesigned center console and dashboard. In terms of performance, the GD series diesel engine is expected to receive mild hybrid technology, following the example of the hybrid-spec Hilux showcased by the Japanese manufacturer in Australia. The 2024 Toyota Fortuner is set to offer a more advanced range of features related to comfort, convenience, and safety.

Expected in Pakistan:

Indus motors is known to deliver the latest models of fortuner and hilux in the country as they have launched legender and rocco. We can expect this generation by next year after CKD launch of corolla Cross.
